Our alkaline battery production process is divided into 12 stages. No matter what type of alkaline battery (AA, AAA, C, D, 6LR61, and LR23A), our front-line workers will strictly follow this fixed standard operating procedure to ensure that there are no mistakes in the battery manufacturing process. Alkaline Battery AAA is a type of alkaline battery, AAA represents its size (it can also be represented by LR03). Our alkaline batteries are usually cylindrical, with zinc as the negative electrode, manganese dioxide as the positive electrode, and potassium hydroxide solution as the electrolyte.
It is composed of manganese powder, zinc powder, carbon rod, steel shell, and copper needle. Among them, manganese powder and zinc powder are active substances, carbon rod is a conductive material, steel shell is the outer shell of the battery, and copper needle is the connecting material inside the battery.
The working principle of alkaline batteries is very simple. When not in use, the chemical materials inside it will stay stably inside the battery. But when they work, they will react chemically with each other, converting chemical energy into electrical energy, and finally powering the device.
Their application range is very wide, whether it is electrical appliances, toys, electronic equipment, etc., alkaline batteries can be used to power the device.

The potassium hydroxide electrolyte inside the alkaline battery is liquid, so the internal resistance is small. In addition, its zinc and manganese are in powdery and crumbly form, so the contact area with the electrolyte is large. These enable alkaline batteries to release more electricity than zinc-carbon batteries of the same volume, so they can power the device for a longer time.
When alkaline batteries are discharged, no gas is produced inside, and their voltage changes are small, which can maintain a stable voltage output, allowing the device to operate normally without performance problems caused by voltage fluctuations.
Under proper storage and use conditions, alkaline batteries can maintain a shelf life of several years (Liteway’s alkaline batteries have a lifespan of 4 years). Even at high discharge rates, alkaline batteries can provide a long service life.
The outer shell of alkaline batteries is steel and does not participate in chemical reactions, so alkaline batteries rarely leak. In addition, alkaline batteries undergo strict quality control and safety testing during design and manufacturing to ensure the safety and reliability of the batteries during use.
Good alkaline batteries do not contain harmful heavy metals such as mercury and cadmium. Even if the battery is damaged, it will not cause serious environmental pollution, which is in line with the environmental protection concept of modern society.
