Lithium polymer battery (LiPo battery) is a lithium-ion battery that uses solid/gel polymer as electrolyte. It has good safety and the battery thickness can be made very thin, which can be well applied to small electronic devices.
The nominal voltage of a single lithium polymer battery is 3.7V or 3.8V. By combining lithium polymer batteries in parallel and series, a variety of different capacities and voltages can be obtained, such as 7.4V,11.1V, 12V,14.8V etc.
